New Desert Hot Springs Spa Planning To Open

After our reports with the employee of the Sea Mountain Inn confirming the business provided a playroom for people to have sex in surfaced, many said a new spa in the City modeled itself after Sea Mountain Spa.

The owner of Areolas Tantric Spa and Resort, Jim Bendis insists it is not.

On Thursday night the business had an open house. We were invited to attend, and asked Bendis what the purpose of his new boutique hotel is.

Bendis said, “We just want to bring peace, the sun, the smell the water, people mistake it for something it is not, there is nothing sexual about it.

Bendis spent over a half-million dollars renovating the property. It features two hot spring pools and 14 rooms. The name of the spa includes both the word areolas and tantric, but Bendis says, “We do not condone public sex, we are clothing optional and there’s a misconception of that.”

The Spa doesn’t have a liquor license, so the only alcohol allowed on the property is what’s brought there by guest. The clothing optional spa is expected to open up on June 24th.
