KESQ’s Parent Company To Sign Agreement With DirecTV
KESQ and its parent company, News-Press Gazette, have agreed upon initial terms for a new contract, which will mean uninterrupted reception of KESQ, KDFX, KUNA and CW for the Coachella Valley, according to Executive Vice President and General Manager Bob Allen on Wednesday.
All four stations could have been pulled from DirecTV’s lineup as of Monday at noon when the current contract expired, said Allen. That did not happen as both sides continued their negotiations.
Allen said he’s confident the current terms will be finalized soon, and both sides will sign the new contract.
