Thanksgiving Travel Could Get Treacherous In Local Mountains, High Deserts
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the Riverside County mountains and high desert areas until 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Forecasters say a low pressure system moving through California will bring strong southwest to westerly winds to the mountains and upper deserts starting Tuesday afternoon and continue through the early morning hours.
They say gusts in some areas could reach 50 miles-per-hour, which could mean trouble for high-profile vehicles.
