Palm Springs Police Capture Man Accused Of Stabbing Mother
A man is in jail for allegedly stabbing his mother in Palm Springs, a police spokesman said on Satuday.
Police received a call just before 10 Saturday morning from the 2400 block of Tuscan Road, just south of Racquet Club.
When police arrived, they found a 58-year-old woman with multiple knife wounds in her hip and leg. She told officers that her schizophrenic son stabbed her several times with a paring knife before running off.
Less than an hour later, with the help of a CHP air unit, officers found 33-year-old Jed Aloe nearby in the Chino Cone area. He was arrested and taken to the Banning Jail.
His mother was treated and released from the hospital.
