Deadly Accident Hits Highway 74 In Homeland
One person died at the scene of a two-car crash on Highway 74 on Friday afternoon, according to officials with Cal Fire.
The collision happened just after 1 p.m. near the intersection of Leon Road, which is about 8 miles west of Hemet.
An ambulance transported another person to a local hospital with moderate injuries, who had to be cut from the wreckage of one of the cars.
Investigators are on the scene trying to piece together the cause of the crash,
