Police Investigating Deadly Multi-Car Crash at Date Palm and Ramon Intersection
Cathedral City Police were called to a multi-car crash at Date Palm and Ramon Road.
It happened just after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
They say the driver of a truck suffered some sort of medical condition while driving on Ramon, about a half block away from Date Palm.
He reportedly lost control and began crashing into other vehicles; plowing into a PT Cruiser, which caused the chain reaction into two other cars.
Police say one man was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center where he later died.
There’s no word on the conditions of the other people involved.
The intersection is now back open.
