Men With Mutts Strut Their Stuff
It was the Third Annual Men of the Desert fashion show at the Hyatt.
Money raised benefits the Animal Samaritans’ no-kill animal shelter and its pet adoption program.
“With homes foreclosing, people aren’t able to keep their homes. They abandon their dogs. It’s a sad scenario, but that’s what’s happening,” event creator Don Genhart said.
Some of the money raised today also goes to the Animal Samaritan’s Animal Care Fund. That money is used to pay for vet care for pet owners who can’t afford it.
