Vandals hit local animal shelter
On Saturday night vandals broke into the Save-A-Pet shelter near Desert Hot Springs and stole all all of the cat and dog food.
They also tried to break into the tool shed.
Save-A-Pet says that what they didn’t take, they trashed.
Thankfully none of the animals were hurt.
But, the damage and stolen goods will cost the shelter around $3,000.
The shelter purchased an emergency supply of food that’ll get them through Wednesday.
Public contributions would be gratefully accepted.
You can make a donation at the shelter’s website by credit card or PayPal.
