Michael Clarke Duncan dies

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan — who was nominated for an Oscar for his role in “The Green Mile” — has died at the age of 54. That word comes from his fiance, former reality TV star Omarosa Manigault.

In a statement, she says Duncan died this morning in a Los Angeles hospital after nearly two months of treatment following a July heart attack. The 6-foot-5, 300 pound Duncan appeared in dozens of films, including such box office hits as “Armageddon” and “Planet of the Apes.”
