Carjacker steals Mercedes in La Quinta
A La Quinta carjacker is still on the run after stealing a Mercedes from a woman who needed help changing a tire.
A report of a stolen car was made just after 11 p.m on Adams and 48th Thursday. That’s where police say a man took off in a 2002 four-door Mercedes.
Officers say the car was stolen while a man was helping the victim change a tire. The woman did suffer some injuries.
