CBS Local 2 Mother’s Day “Getaway” Winners
A lucky group of moms got some special recognition today. The winners of our first annual CBS Local 2 Mother’s Day Getaway Contest were picked up in a Cardiff Limousine Wednesday morning at the television station in Palm Desert and taken to lunch at BluEmber Restaurant at the Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage.
The contest ran for a month and our grand prize winner was Caroline Doran, who was nominated by a co-worker. “It feels good, I’m actually giggly because I never win anything. It’s nice to be appreciated,” Doran told CBS Local 2 photographer Josh Jenkins.
Doran won a full day at Spa Las Palmas, which includes a massage, a facial and a manicure/pedicure as well. She was also presented an amazing pair of hoop diamond earrings from DeLuca Jewelers. Doran will also get a visit from Molly Maids, Coachella Valley who will take over the house cleaning so she can tend to her 14-year-old son.
Second prize winners Raquel Suarez Ortega of Indio, Rina Burge of Indio, Estella Saenz, Michelle Folkers, and Stefaney Campbell of Yucca Valley were treated to lunch and received similar prizes.
