Desert Hot Springs not hostile but dysfunctional report says
The investigation into allegations that Desert Hot Springs City Council members were bullying City Manager Rick Daniels has been completed.
The investigation revealed that there was insufficient evidence to conclude that Daniels has been subject to a hostile work environment.
The report which cost the city over 77-thousand dollars also revealed that even though there was not a hostile work place that the evidence clearly demonstrates that an extremely dysfunctional working relationship exists between Daniels and Councilman Russel Betts and Councilman Adam Sanchez.
Daniels has already resigned his position and is in negotiations to take over the City Manager job in Needles California next month. The 98 page report was sent to us today and was completed by Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai Public Law Group on July 26th.
