Bicyclist struck, killed at Moreno Valley intersection
A bicyclist was struck and killed today at aMoreno Valley intersection.
The crash happened at 3:44 p.m. at Northern Dancer Drive andPerris Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
A man cycling northbound on Perris was apparently hit from behind by amotorist, who immediately stopped.
The victim, described only as a man between 45 and 50 years old, waspronounced dead by paramedics at 3:48 p.m., according to reports from thescene.
Deputies were questioning the driver, who may be a minor.
Perris Boulevard was shut down between Krameria Avenue and NorthernDancer for an investigation, sheriff’s officials said.
