Child hurt after being hit by car in DHS
A vehicle struck a child riding on a bicycleyesterday in an unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs and left him with minorinjuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers received a dispatch at 4:09 p.m. and went to the corner ofCamino Campenero and Via Vista drives. They determined the child was notseriously hurt almost an hour later, the CHP reported.
