Coachella Valley Symphony holding free concert of Latino and Hispanic music

(CNS) – The Coachella Valley Symphony will give a free concert of Latino and Hispanic music in Indio Sunday.

“Fiesta De Musica Latina,” featuring area choirs and guest musicians, will start at 1:30 p.m. at the Empire Polo Club. Doors open at 1 p.m.

Choirs from Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, and Coachella Valley high schools, the Young Mariachi Azteca De Oro and Araceli Urbina Applegate will participate.

People can bring blankets, chairs and picnics; food and beverages will be available for purchase.
