Police identify man who was gunned down in Thousand Palms

We now know the name of a man gunned down in Thousand Palms.

Police say 29-year-old Steven Garcia was shot several times at a home on the 30400 block of Monte Vista Way last Friday morning.

He was rushed to Eisenhower Medical Center where he later died.

Officers say they arrested a 22-year-old suspect in the case.

Police have not released a name or a possible motive.
