Shots Fired In DHS, Police Chase And Arrest Suspect
Desert Hot Springs Police Officers heard shots fired around 3:30 Tuesday morning on the 66300 block of 7th Street.
Officers saw a car drive away from the scene and attempted to stop it.
A pursuit took place that lasted several minutes. During the pursuit the suspect threw the gun out of the car.
The suspect then ran over a spike strip that Officers had put out and the pursuit ended at Dillon Road and Mountain View Avenue.
The suspect, Kenneth Carey was arrested.
No one appears to have been injured in the incident.
