Stockton man dies in Palm Desert shooting
Police say a 46-year-old man is the victim of a shooting in Palm Desert.
Michael Anthony Gomez of Stockton was shot on the 78000 block of Country Club near Washington Sunday afternoon.
He was rushed to Eisenhower Medical Center, where he later died.
Police have made no arrests.
A witness, who did not want to be identified, said two men in their 20s argued in the parking lot of the strip mall, and then one man was shot behind the car wash adjacent to the Mobil gas station
Witnesses say a suspect was taken into custody, but police have not confirmed that.
