Several injury wrecks on Interstate 10 in Palm Desert, one car trapped underneath truck

Several injury wrecks on Interstate 10 westbound in Palm Desert happened early Monday morning.

One east of Cook Street had five vehicles involved.

Authorities say a car got trapped underneath a tractor-trailer just east of Washington.

Police have not released a cause of the collisions.
