Local business bringing holiday cheer to those in need

A La Quinta business is beginning to collect coats for its 2013 Christmas charity drive.

Jonathan’s Cleaners is partnering with the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission in Indio to bring much needed warmth to the less fortunate. The business is seeking donations of new and used coats of all sizes and for all ages. The coats received will be cleaned for free and will be donated to the Rescue Mission to help someone in need.

Jonathan’s Cleaners has been running its charity coat drive annually for the past six years. For the last six years, the business has been collecting coats for the needy during the Christmas season and donating them to various charities throughout the Coachella Valley.

Coat Drive Details:

Drop off location: Jonathan’s Cleaners at 46-480 Washington Street, Suite 3 La Quinta, CA 92253 (Inside the Trader Joe’s shopping center).

Drop off times: Between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

The charity coat drive runs from December 5th to January 4th.
