5 injured after 3-car accident on Hovley and El Dorado
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and Cal Fire is responding to a three car accident on Hovley Lane and El Dorado Drive on the border of Palm Desert and Indian Wells.
Witnesses say at least two cars have overturned in the accident that was reported just before 2 p.m.
Officials with Cal Fire said five patients were taken to the hospital. Two people have major injuries and three are moderately injured.
Traffic is impacted, drivers should avoid the area if possible.
