A/C outage closes Desert Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce

The air conditioning went out at the Desert Hot Springs Visitors Center/Chamber of Commerce offices Tuesday afternoon.

Officials posted the outage on the chamber’s FB page around 12:30 p.m.

Due to the extreme heat, the building has been temporarily closed. Officials said the office will reopen for summer hours once the AC units are up and running again.

There was no estimated time for when the air conditioning would be fixed.

Chamber officials apologize for the inconvenience and remind everyone to stay safe, cool and well-hydrated in this summer heat.

News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 will let you know when the building is back open to the public.
