Near drowning at Fantasy Springs
A 3-year-old girl was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after she nearly drowned at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio.
It was reported just after 2:00 Saturday afternoon at the community pool at the resort.
Off-duty emergency personnel gave the child CPR before firefighters arrived.
The toddler was breathing and was stable when she was taken to an area hospital.
