Agua Caliente tribe announces residential development in Palm Springs
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians announced Friday its plans to Develop 126 Lots in Palm Springs.
In a statement released Friday morning, the tribe said it will work with The Rilington Group, a well-respected Coachella Valley homebuilder and developer to build the Umbria community of single family modern architecturally-styled homes.
This will be the project’s second phase.
In the statement Mickie Riley, President of The Rilington Group, said, “I am excited to present the first Rilington Group community featuring our distinct take on modern architectural design in the Coachella Valley.”
Riley added, “Umbria is a flagship neighborhood for our company as it adds an additional design dimension to our wide variety of product offerings.
The project will be located in Palm Springs at Via Escuela and Gene Autry Trail near Vista Chino.
It will feature a nine floor plans for one and two story homes range from 1800 square feet to 2800 square feet.
The community will feature a dog park and easy access to the planned Whitewater Trail System.
The project’s infrastructure is set to begin in the first quarter of 2015.
Models will be ready to show by next summer.
