Holiday travel update: One person dead from accident in Whitewater
An SUV rolled 100 feet off the side of the road on I-10 west in Whitewater. Two people had to be cut from the car and were transported with major injuries to a local area hospital. CHP reports at least one person has died.
A few other minor accidents were also reported along the I-10 Sunday. Most of the congestion is west of date palm through the banning pass.
