Palm Springs hotel offers two nights for $1 million

Its an unusual offer from a Palm Springs resort hotel.

For one million dollars, you, or anyone, can have everything.

For two nights.

The glistening pool, the posh restaurant, and the stylish bar are just a few of all the included amenities.

Anything and everything offered by the Riviera Palm Springs is all included in the million dollar deal.

“Its the perfect blend of the history of Palm Springs, with the new trends in the hotel resort market as well as some of the trends going on with Palm Springs,” said Michael Macleod, the Director of Sales for the Riviera.

He said the hotel’s marketing team came up with the pricey promotion as simply a way to capitalize on the renaissance and upward trajectory the city seems to be experiencing.

“We wanted to capitalize on some of the buzz that Palm Springs has currently, with the Louis Vuitton event a few weeks ago, which was a really popular event. It crystallized some of the attention Palm Springs has currently,” said Macleod.

While aimed primarily at the market for corporate events and large conferences, high-net-worth individuals are also certainly welcome to make the place their own.

They can bring along up to 600 of their closest friends.

The offer, which has caught the attention of some national media, has been running now for about two weeks.

But so far, no takers.

However, we’re told the Riviera’s parent company has enjoyed success in offering similar promotions at their other properties, notably at the Little Palm Resort on Key West.

Macleod says the value being offered at the Palm Springs property is all about “the exclusivity” a group or even an individual can enjoy.

The hotel features 398 guest rooms.

“We’re excited about it, and I think again it speaks to Palm Springs. I think there is some definite heat and buzz around the city, in terms of this being a location that people want to be seen in, and want to do business in,” said Macleod.

The offer of two days for a million bucks runs indefinitely.
