Intersection reopens after crash in Palm Springs

Palm Springs police have reopened eastbound lanes of Ramon Road at Gene Autry Trail after a crash caused heavy traffic congestion for about an hour Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened around 11:45 a.m.

No serious injuries were reported in the crash. Officers sent out a Nixle alert for commuters to avoid eastbound Ramon and southbound Gene Autry Trail while crews cleared the road.

Officers haven’t released any information regarding the crash, but again, no serious injuries were reported.
