Person identified in deadly crash on Interstate 10
The Riverside County Coroner has identified the victim in a deadly car crash just east of the Coachella Valley neat Chiraco Summit.
Mary Lytle, 64-years-old from Tucson, died on the scene while two others had to be taken to the hospital.
It happened just before 3:30 p.m. Friday in the westbound lanes.
Officials say a vehicle went down an embankment before coming to rest in the center divider.
Two people suffered moderate injuries, one of whom, aboy, was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
