Man charged after police find over 110 grams of meth in his home
A 55-year-old Palm Springs man was charged Tuesday with possession of drugs for sale and maintaining a drug house, after a raid at his home last week allegedly turned up more than 110 grams of methamphetamine.
Joshua Sandy Miller was due for arraignment at the Larson Justice Center in Indio on multiple felony counts. Officers searched his home in the 3800 block of Calle San Antonio at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 9.
According to Lieutenant Mike Kovaleff with the Palm Springs Police Department, the search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into narcotics being sold at the home. Officers found over 110 grams of methamphetamine in addition to narcotics sales equipment.
Miller was arrested for felony violations of possession of a controlled substance for sale, utilizing a room specifically designed to suppress law enforcement entry in order to sell methamphetamine, and for violating his probation, according to the release.
He was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio on $50,000 bail.
