Equipment problem causes power outage in Indian Wells

Southern California Edison is reporting a power outage in Indian Wells after equipment problems occurred just after midnight on Wednesday.

According to SCE’s website, only 49 customers are without power and crews are working on a fix. Officials estimate power to be restored to customers by 4 p.m.
