One acre brush fire in Thermal threatens power lines
A brush fire in Thermal is contained after threatening power lines Monday afternoon.
The fire at 80th Avenue and Harrison Street burned a little more than an acre.
The call went out about 4:00 p.m. Monday.
Imperial Irrigation crews sent a trouble shooter to the area but didn’t report any outages because of the fire.
There are no reports of injuries and no word what caused the fire.
