A not guilty plea from a La Quinta woman accused of embezzlement
A La Quinta woman pleaded not guilty today to embezzling more than $114,000 from a local brokerage business where she worked. Isabel Sonia Bandzej, 50, was ordered Sept. 2 to stand trial on felony charges of grand theft and embezzlement, and a sentence-enhancing allegation that the amount involved was over $65,000.
