Dairy Queen Grill & Chill hiring, opening Sept. 29 in Cathedral City
People turned out at the new Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Cathedral City Saturday, with hopes of landing a job. Chandi Group USA held a job fair, looking to fill more than 60 positions at the restaurant.
Grill & Chill stores are larger than the older-style locations and need the appropriate number of employees to accommodate for a larger menu.
“It’s a fun atmosphere to work for Dairy Queen. You’re serving ice cream. You’re creating smiles. You’re creating stories,” said general manager Alex Delaherra.
The Grill & Chill is next to the AMPM at the corner of Date Palm and Vista Chino.
The restaurant is expected to open on Sept. 29 of this month.
