Checkpoint planned in Desert Hot Springs

Desert Hot Springs Police are planning a DUI/drivers license checkpoint this Friday night at an undisclosed location.

The checkpoint will begin at 8:00 p.m. Friday night and continue until 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Police say checkpoints help reduce the number of people killed or injured in alcohol or drug related crashes.
