I-10 lanes back open after SIG Alert

A SIG alert is over for the Eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in Whitewater after a big rig crashed into a cargo van and jack-knifed about 3:35 Wednesday.

There are no reports of injuries.

Traffic backed-up to the Cabazon area when all of the Eastbound lanes were closed.

They were re-opened shortly after 5:00 p.m..
