Cause of 2-alarm fire in Palm Desert under investigation

The cause of a fire at a multi-residence condominium in Palm Desert is under investigation.

The fire was reported around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 72600 block of Eagle Drive in the Indian Creek Villas.

Firefighters quickly called out a 2nd alarm after they found intense flames and smoke coming from the garage area.

Everyone inside made it out safely but the Red Cross was called out to assist the five adults who lived in the affected condos.

Cal Fire Riverside County says the fire was fully contained by 6:30 p.m.
