News Channel 3 responded to various social media reports claiming some homeless people are taking water from private water taps in Desert Hot Springs.
Our news team found an affordable solution to this type of water theft at the Lock Shop in Palm Desert. It’s called the Hose Bib Lock.
The Hose Bib Lock is an alternative to caging hoses or sealing taps. The lock sells for around $20 and also prevents taps from leaking to save money on monthly water bills.
