Debris fire spreads to commercial building in Indio
Firefighters worked on an overnight debris fire in Indio.
It was first reported around 3:15 in the morning — on the 87-thousand block of landfill road.
Cal fire officials say a large pile of debris burned, with some fire spreading to the commercial structure.
They say about $10,000 worth of damage was caused.
Firefighters were able to save the majority of the building.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
