Desert Hot Springs City Manager Martin Magana announces resignation

Martin Magana has announced his resignation as City Manager of the City of Desert Hot Springs, for personal reasons, effective July 21, 2016.

Mr. Magana provided 30 days’ notice of his resignation pursuant to his Employment Agreement with the City.

Mr. Magana was appointed as City Manager in May 2014, after a national search for qualified candidates, according to city officials.

Prior to his appointment as City Manager, Mr. Magana served as the City’s Community Development Director for approximately five years.
