A high-desert couple pleaded not guilty to felony child abuse charges.
Three young children were found by deputies wandering the desert in 29 Palms Wednesday morning
Their mother, Mary Bell, and her boyfriend Gary Cassle pleaded not guilty Friday to felony child abuse charges.
Bell and Cassle are being held on $100,000 bail.
All three children, a girl and two boys, are under the age of 10.
Police said they were found in the desert after they were left there for disciplanary reasons.
The children were apparently left there, without water or shoes.
The kids are now in the custody of child protective services.
