“Pokemon Go” a no-go for its worldwide rollout

“Pokemon Go” was a no-go as it launched in 26 new countries Friday. Some hackers said they are responsible for the game crashing during its worldwide rollout.

A group called Poodle-Corp tweeted that it’s behind server crashes. The tweets also suggested that another attack on “Pokemon Go” is coming.

“Pokemon Go” is a hugely popular augmented reality game that you can play on your cellphone. It was originally launched on July 7, but it was only available in eight countries. The company behind “Pokemon Go” said on its website that it’s working to fix server issues.
