Driver taken to hospital after crashing SUV into tree
A driver has been taken to the hospital after crashing a SUV into a tree in La Quinta Friday morning.
According to officials on scene, the accident occurred on Highway 111 and Washington Street just after 10:30 a.m.
The driver reportedly hit a tree at the busy intersection and was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. No other vehicle is reportedly involved, but sheriff deputies are still on scene trying to determine the exact cause of the crash.
