A Coachella Valley couple survived a car crash in Sacramento after flipping multiple times

Charles Rosenberg and Liam Goff were in a car accident last Saturday in Sacramento. They were leaving the Out at the Fair Drag Bingo Charity event. Rosenberg and Goff were left with lacerations and bruising.

The couple shared that they survived but they felt like they were being accused by North Sacramento CHP and were not happy with the treatment at the Mercy San Juan Medical Center.

Goff said, "They had the car towed and removed before he even got on the second ambulance. They didn't take any photos of our injuries. They didn't ask if anything hurt. It was all accusatory from the beginning". Goff and Rosenberg shared frustration and wanted to know why they were treated, in their words, "with no empathy".

Goff explained the accident as a Hit and Run. Goff said, "There were two street racers coming out about 100 miles an hour according to witnesses, and one of them lost control and went into a drift right into the front left side of my bumper and knocked us into a median we went down a dirt embankment and then went up airborne and flipped and landed upside down on a surface street across the median from the freeway". He said, as he and Rosenberg were rescued by Good Samaritans, his first instinct was to, "get out and get up. And just, I mean, I guess make sure I was alive".

The car was smashed and all of the airbags were deployed. Goff and Rosenberg couldn't believe they were alive after looking at the aftermath of the car crash.

In a Facebook message, Referring to the ABC News coverage in Sacramento, Charles Rosenberg, said, "It was wild. There’s more to the story than the short clips they used in their edit so of course! We honestly have felt like nothing but a bag of bones lately. Basically feels like because we survived that it’s “good enough”. But it shouldn’t happen in the first place and now we are in a bunch of constant pain and trauma. We can’t even get the CHP to talk to us. Never felt so completely worthless".

News Channel 3's Miyoshi Price reached out to North Sacramento CHP to get a statement based on the experience of Goff and Rosenberg at 2:45 pm pst but we have not heard from a PIO yet. When they reach out to us, we will update this post.

When Rosenberg was rushed to the hospital, Goff said he had to beg them to get him an ambulance and take him to the hospital. Rosenberg said, "when I was in the ambulance, they were treating it very severe. They cut all my clothes off. They were doing all these vitals on me and checking all of these things. They didn't do any of that for him". Rosenberg and Goff were not happy with the service they received from the hospital. We reached out to Dignity Health and a representative said in a statement:
