Senator Jeff Stone’s office burglarized
The Indio Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Senator Jeff Stone’s office. His Indio office is located in the 45000 block of Smurr Street. Officers.
The burglary happened sometime between 8 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.
According to Sgt. Dan Marshall, the burglar broke a window and then took the keys to a staff vehicle and some items from the refrigerator. The suspect hasn’t been identified yet and the burglary is under investigation.
