Coachella man arrested for burglary

20-year-old Johnathan Duron, of Coachella, was arrested for burglary early Friday morning in Coachella.

According to a news release provided by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, officers from the Coachella Valley Police Department responded to an alarm activation at 3 a.m., in the 49200 block of Grapefruit Boulevard. When they arrived to what was a closed business, they found the front glass door had been shattered.

Witnesses provided the officers with a description of the suspect and after a brief search of the area, they located Duron. Authorities say he was in possession of evidence linking him to the crime scene.

Duron was booked into the county jail in Indio.
