Dozens displaced after apartment fire
After being displaced because of a fire Thursday night, about 40 people were having trouble finding hotel rooms because of crowds from White Party.
Residents in one building in the Marquee apartment complex in Palm Springs said their home has been declared unsafe to inhabit for at lest two weeks.

They say they were told that there might be structural damage from the fire that broke out at about 8:30 p.m. No one was injured during the fire.Fire crews reacted quickly and were able to keep the fire to just the one apartment.
The American Red Cross gave vouchers for residents to find hotels, but because of White Party there are almost no hotel rooms available in town.
“We are very lucky. We have friends that have offered us a place immediately. We have a place to go, but there are a lot of people here that say they have nowhere to go,” said Anthony Bonelli, who lives across from the unit that burned. Employees in the leasing office of the complex were also making calls and trying to find rooms for their tenants.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
