Partiers enjoy a zen start to their White Party weekend

As the desert enjoys a weekend cool down the opposite is happening at the annual White Party. Things are heating up at the weekend long party as men from all over the world converge on Palm Springs.

Many taking part in a mid morning yoga session to kick off the weekend.

“It’s great to disconnect from the party scene from the noise and the music and quite down and find the center within,” said Francisco Ramos, owner of Zen Casa.

Many said the event isn’t just about partying, it’s what brings like minded people together.

“I think the best way to learn about life in any segment of the population is to talk to people. Come to the party and talk to everyone you can and go to every event you can,” said John Barbarotta from Los Angeles.

Young or old, party goers said it doesn’t matter.

“The thing about White Party is it’s really for every age. I think people get to a certain age and they think ‘Oh I can’t go to White Party’ but it’s all about how young you feel,” said Todd Barnes from West Hollywood.

Everyone agrees the White Party creates life long friendships.

Tickets will be available at the door for most parties.
