One person transferred to hospital after two-vehicle accident

One person transferred to a local hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Thousand Palms Monday evening.

The accident happened at 6:42 p.m. near the intersection of Varner Rd and Ramon Rd in Thousand Palms.

One person was transferred to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

One lane of Varner was blocked for a short time so the vehicles could be towed.

CHP officers are still investigating the details of the accident at this time.
