Local school helps raise money for Jarrod Dougherty family
St. Theresa Catholic School held a spaghetti dinner to help raise money for funeral expenses for 13 year-old Jarrod Dougherty.
Hundreds of people attended the fundraiser showing large support for the Dougherty family.
Cathedral City police are investigating his death, which they say was gun-related. However, detectives say they haven’t determined an official cause.
A car wash fundraiser is being held Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Theresa Schools’ parking lot in Palm Springs.
