Boy gets unique greeting from Disney characters

A special moment was caught on video at Disneyland, of a little boy from Chino getting a silent greeting from Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

With the help of a translator, the characters signed “I love you,” and “It’s nice to meet you!” to the two and a half year old boy, who is mostly deaf.

The reaction from the toddler spoke volumes.

The boy was born with special needs and abandoned right after birth.

He was adopted by a family through Olive Crest, which is dedicated to preventing child abuse and treating and educating at-risk children.

The trip to Disneyland was during a day hosted for foster and adoptive families of Olive Crest, which serves communities throughout the west, including the Coachella Valley.
